The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is much better than the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, with a 74.3 score against 61.1. Even though Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a lot older and somewhat thicker than the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, it's construction is still somewhat lighter. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has Android 14, giving some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a much better performing processor than Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores. The Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a larger display, a higher resolution of 1920 x 3000 pixels and a quite greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a much higher 13 mega pixels resolution back camera. Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 features better battery performance than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a 27% bigger battery capacity.
