Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is much better than the Huawei MediaPad M1, having a 74.3 score against 61.5. Although Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and the Huawei MediaPad M1 were released only a couple months apart, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 design is somewhat thinner but also incredibly heavier than the Huawei MediaPad M1. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has newer 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it gives some nice extra features and optimized performance.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a brighter screen than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a much larger screen, a way greater pixel density and a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has more RAM and a higher number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 takes much better videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a back facing camera with a lot better 8 megapixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a very superior memory for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB and 24 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a way better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 7900mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 costs more than Huawei MediaPad M1, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
