Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, getting a 75.1 score against 74.3. Microsoft Surface Pro 4's design is newer than Galaxy Tab S 10.5's, but it's notably heavier and incredibly thicker. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 works with Windows 10 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 OS.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features an extremely better processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with 8 more processing cores. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little worse 1600 x 2560 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixel number per inch in the display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Both of them have the same video resolution, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rates. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
