The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, getting a 74.3 score against 58.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 design is incredibly newer, lighter and a lot thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, so it provides some additional features and improved performance.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a little bigger display, a way better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a way higher number of pixels per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a greater number of cores.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 7900mAh of battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a much more MP camera and better 30 fps video frame rate.
