The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a global score of 74.3, which is better than the Galaxy Tab A8's 62.6 global score. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11 version. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is older than the Galaxy Tab A8, it's body is a little lighter and just a bit thinner.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A8, because it has 7900mAh of battery capacity.
