Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, getting a global score of 79 against 74.3. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3's construction is way newer and just a little lighter than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5's, although it's a lot thicker. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has 10 version while Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 version.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a better resolution of 1600 x 2560, a little better display pixel density and a much larger screen.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has more internal storage and a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a much better battery duration than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 7900mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera in the back with a way higher 13 mega pixels resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, resigning a couple specs and features.
