Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a score of 78.5, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5's 74.3 overall score. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2. Despite being the best we are comparing, we must note that it's also thicker and noticeably heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has just a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1600 x 2560, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also counts with a bit better count of pixels in each inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also counts with a graphics processor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a quite bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has 9500mAh of battery capacity instead of 7900mAh.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have a 8 mega pixels camera in the back and the same video definition, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rate.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 costs more money than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
