Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, with a overall score of 78.6 against 74.3. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has the older 10 version and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e design is newer, thinner and lighter than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5.
Galaxy Tab S5e features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab S5e also has 1 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S5e. Both of them have a same size screen, the same display pixel density and the same exact 1600 x 2560 resolution.
Galaxy Tab S5e has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e counts with a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a much better (4K) video definition and a camera in the back with a lot better 13 megapixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, because it has a 7900mAh battery size.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, resigning a couple specifications.
