The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a general score of 74.3, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z2 Tablet's general score of 69.8. Although it's the best device in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also just a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has lesser processing cores (although they are faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also counts with an additional GPU. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a slightly better looking screen than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a better screen pixel density.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a much bigger memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a better camera than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a back camera with lesser megapixels and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has greater battery life than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has 7900mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is also by far the cheapest one, making this tablet an obvious call.
