Comparison review

The Google Nexus 9 has a general score of 74.5, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5's 72.1 score. These tablets use Android operating system, but the Google Nexus 9 has newer 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 version. The Google Nexus 9 design is thicker but a little lighter than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and both of them were released with only a few months difference.

Google Nexus 9 has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, although it has a bit lower resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and a bit smaller display, they both have the same screen pixel density. The Google Nexus 9 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has 1 GB less RAM and lesser processing cores (but faster), it also counts with a 64-bit processor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a very superior memory to install applications and games than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a slightly better camera than Google Nexus 9. They have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same resolution camera in the back and the same video frame rates.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features just a little better battery performance than Google Nexus 9, because it has 7900mAh of battery capacity.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, Google Nexus 9 is also cheap compared to the other tablet, which makes this tablet a simple decision.
