Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad X2, with a 73.3 score against 72.7. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is just a little thinner than the Huawei MediaPad X2, although it is somewhat heavier and was released about 10 months before.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a 64-bits processor. The Huawei MediaPad X2 features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a little worse screen density, a way lower 1920 x 1200px resolution and a little smaller screen.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features just a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a much less MP camera and a lower video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 costs a little more money than Huawei MediaPad X2, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
