Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, getting a 73.3 score against 62.8. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an older tablet than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but it's somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter anyway. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a bit larger screen, a lot higher 2560 x 1600 resolution and much more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 shoots way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video definition and a camera in the back with a way better resolution. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 count with incredibly similar memory to store more games and applications, they have exactly the same internal storage and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 17 percent more battery size.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a bit more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
