The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an overall score of 74.5, which is a lot better than the Acer Predator 8's 57.7 score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an older portable tablet than Acer Predator 8, but it's a lot thinner and lighter anyway. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an older 4.4.2 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a little faster processor than Acer Predator 8, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much sharper display than Acer Predator 8, because it has a better resolution of 2560 x 1600, more pixels per inch of screen and a quite larger screen.
The Acer Predator 8's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 one, both of them have a SD extension slot that holds up to 128 GB and exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Acer Predator 8, because it has an 11 percent greater battery size.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures greater videos and photos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a way better resolution camera in the back.
Even being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
