The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Alcatel JOY TAB, having a 74.5 score against 59.4. Galaxy Tab S 8.4's body is incredibly thinner than Alcatel JOY TAB, although it is a little bit heavier and was released 5 years before. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better looking screen than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a much better 2560 x 1600 resolution, a little bigger display and a much better display pixel density. Alcatel JOY TAB's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 one, both have a SD card slot that admits up to 128 GB and equal 32 GB internal memory capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has longer battery life than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a 4900mAh battery capacity instead of 4080mAh. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit better camera than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a much better 8 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
