Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a bit better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, getting a 74.5 score against 67.9. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version. Even though Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 were released only a few months apart, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is way lighter and somewhat thinner.
