The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad X2, with a general score of 74.5 against 72.7. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the older 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an older and heavier tablet than the Huawei MediaPad X2, but Samsung made it a little thinner anyway.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a little less pixels per inch of screen, a bit smaller display and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1200. The Huawei MediaPad X2's memory capacity to install games and applications is just as good as Galaxy Tab S 8.4's one, they have equal internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB.
Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have the same number of cores and 3 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a 64-bits CPU. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video quality and a back-facing camera with a much worse 8 megapixels resolution.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4900mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a bit more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad X2, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
