The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Microsoft Surface 3, getting a score of 74.5 against 66.3. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an older tablet than the Microsoft Surface 3, but Samsung managed to build it way thinner and incredibly lighter. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a lot higher screen density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with 4 more processing cores. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a superior camera than Microsoft Surface 3. They have the same resolution camera in the back, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.
