Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is better than the OSCAL ELITE 1, with a 74.5 score against 67.1. Both tablets we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while OSCAL ELITE 1 has Android 14, so it gives you a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a brighter display than OSCAL ELITE 1, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also counts with more pixels per inch in the display.
The OSCAL ELITE 1 features a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory. The OSCAL ELITE 1 features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have 8 cores, the OSCAL ELITE 1 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The OSCAL ELITE 1 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 8800mAh of battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures clearer videos and photos than OSCAL ELITE 1, although it has a camera with way less MP.
