Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a score of 74.5, which is much better than the OSCAL Spider 8's 64.4 general score. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while OSCAL Spider 8 has Android 13. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is older than OSCAL Spider 8, it's body is much thinner and noticeably lighter.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a better display than OSCAL Spider 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater pixels quantity per inch in the display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1600. The OSCAL Spider 8 features a superior memory for apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB internal storage.
The OSCAL Spider 8 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OSCAL Spider 8 also has more RAM. OSCAL Spider 8 has a superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 13000mAh battery size. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features just a bit better camera than OSCAL Spider 8, although it has a much less mega-pixels camera.
