Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a global score of 74.5, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s 65 global score. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4's design is newer, noticeably lighter and much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T).
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 2560 x 1600 resolution and a lot higher pixel number per inch in the display. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with much more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores (and faster). Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a really longer battery life than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a lot better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a back camera with lot more megapixels.
In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
