Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 74.5, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's 65.6 score. These devices use the same Android 4.4.2 operating system, so they should provide the user all the same operating system features. Even though Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 were released only a couple months apart, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is a little bit heavier but a lot thinner.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px, a much higher display density and a larger display. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 1,5 GB more RAM memory and more cores.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a way higher video definition and a much better 8 mega pixels resolution back camera. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 128 GB and more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 23 percent greater battery capacity.
