Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), getting a 74.5 score against 70.2. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is notably lighter and thinner than the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), even though it was released 2 years before.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) captures better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both of them have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a back camera with an 8 megapixels and the same video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity against 4900mAh.
