Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an overall score of 74.5, which is way better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7's general score of 60.5. Both devices we are comparing here use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an older tablet device than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but Samsung was able to build it somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter anyway.
