The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab Active 2, getting a global score of 74.5 against 70. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab Active 2 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is older than the Galaxy Tab Active 2, it's design is way lighter and extremely thinner.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2. Both have a 3 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
