Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab Active 2, getting a global score of 74.5 against 70. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab Active 2 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is older than the Galaxy Tab Active 2, it's design is way lighter and extremely thinner.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2. Both have a 3 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a way better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a much higher screen density, a little bigger display and a way higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a little bit better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2's camera is very similar to the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 one, both have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has just a bit better battery life than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a 4900mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 not only is the best tablets of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest one, which makes it a no doubt choice.
