Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Sony Tablet S, having a score of 74.5 against 57.5. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is way newer, lighter and notably thinner than the Sony Tablet S.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 2560 x 1600 resolution and a way better pixels number per display inch. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a superior processing power than Sony Tablet S, because it has a higher amount of RAM and more CPU cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Sony Tablet S, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality and a way higher 8 mega pixels resolution camera.
