Comparison review
Xperia Z4 Tablet has a global score of 74.7, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4's general score of 74.5. Xperia Z4 Tablet's construction is notably heavier but just a little thinner than Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z4 Tablet has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2, offering a couple nice extra features and a performance increase.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit more vivid screen than Xperia Z4 Tablet, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1600px resolution, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also counts with a bit better display density. The Xperia Z4 Tablet features a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processor.
Xperia Z4 Tablet's storage capacity to install applications and games is just as good as the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet features superior battery life than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a better camera than Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, although it has a lower 8 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a lower video definition.
Although Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, resigning some features and specs.
