Comparison review
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is slightly better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, with a global score of 73.6 against 68.5. Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is a newer device, and it's also lighter and much thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a just a little greater amount of pixels in each inch in the display and a bit bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a really longer battery lifetime than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch. Both have a 8 mega-pixels back camera.
