Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a score of 73.6, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7's 60.5 general score. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch design is thinner and noticeably lighter than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, even though both were released only a couple of months apart. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch features a better processor than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has 1,5 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and faster).
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch counts with a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a lot more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch also has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a back facing camera with a much better 8 mega pixels resolution and a much better 2560x1440 video quality. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a superior battery life than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
