Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a global score of 78.5, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch's score of 73.6. Even being the best portable tablet in this review, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is an older, noticeably thicker and heavier portable tablet than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because although it has a little bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a way larger display and a quite better 1600 x 2560 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch. Both of them have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the same video frame rates and the same resolution camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has a 9500mAh battery capacity.
