Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is better than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, getting a general score of 73.6 against 65.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch's design is somewhat thinner and lighter than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, even though both were released with only 3 months difference. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a screen that's very similar to the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch one, because although the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, it also counts with a quite higher pixels number in each inch of display.
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more processing cores. Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has a 55% more battery size. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch. Both have the same video frame rate, the same (Full HD) video quality and a 8 megapixels back facing camera.
