Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is better than the Microsoft Surface 3, getting a 73.4 score against 66.3. Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is a a lot lighter and a lot thinner tablet than the Microsoft Surface 3, even when they were only released with a couple months difference. Microsoft Surface 3 features a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has more RAM and a higher number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch features a way better display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 2048 x 1536 resolution and a greater display density. Microsoft Surface 3 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface 3 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch count with quite similar cameras, both of them have the same resolution back camera, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3.
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch costs a bit more than the Microsoft Surface 3, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
