Comparison review
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's 75.2 global score. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is a newer tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, although it is noticeably thicker and a little heavier. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has an older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher display pixels density and a slightly higher 1536 x 2048 resolution. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) and Galaxy Tab S3 feature quite similar processing units, because although the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although they are slower).
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a 6150mAh battery capacity instead of 6000mAh.
The Galaxy Tab S3 has a better camera than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because it has a much more megapixels back facing camera, a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a larger camera aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited situations.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is a better device, it is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
