Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a score of 79, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's general score of 75.2. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active 3 has older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 design is way newer and just a little bit lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's, although it is thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has 4 more cpu cores. Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little lower resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a just a little better screen pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features a better camera than Galaxy Tab Active 3. Both of them have a 13 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab S3 features improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 5050mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab S3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab S3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active 3, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab S3, letting go some features and specs.
