Galaxy Tab S3 has a score of 75.2, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4's 74.5 global score. The Galaxy Tab S3 body is noticeably newer and a little thinner, but also incredibly heavier than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity per display inch and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
Galaxy Tab S3 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a much better resolution camera in the back and a much higher (4K) video definition. The Galaxy Tab S3 has a little bit more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab S3 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy Tab S3 counts with better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab S3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
