The Galaxy Tab S3 has an overall score of 75.2, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet's global score of 69.8. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S3 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab S3 is a a lot newer tablet device, and it's also a bit lighter and just a little thinner than the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet.
Xperia Z2 Tablet features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also counts with a graphics co-processor. Xperia Z2 Tablet has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a little worse quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a quite lower 1200 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a bit larger display.
The Galaxy Tab S3 has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 shoots way better videos and photos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a back camera with much more MP and a much better (4K) video definition.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet and Galaxy Tab S3 both have incredibly similar battery durations.
