The Galaxy Tab S4 construction is notably newer and a little thinner than Asus MeMO Pad 8's, but it is heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has a little faster processing unit than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more cpu cores.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab S4, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, a little less pixels per inch of screen and a way smaller display. The Galaxy Tab S4 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that supports up to 400 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 counts with a much better camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a back camera with a lot better 13 mega pixels resolution. The Galaxy Tab S4 has a very superior battery lifetime than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 costs a lot more than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
