The Galaxy Tab S4 has a global score of 78.8, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s 65.7 global score. Even though Galaxy Tab S4 is notably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's somewhat thinner and newer. The Galaxy Tab S4 has a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution, a much better display density and a way larger display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 features a better CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has 2 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 also has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a way higher resolution camera in the back.

Galaxy Tab S4 has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 400 GB and 48 GB more internal storage capacity.
