Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has an overall score of 78.6, which is better than the Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s 70.8 overall score. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a newer 10 version while Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0 version, counting with a couple additional features and performance optimizations. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is extremely heavier than Google Nexus 7 (2013), it's thinner and also much newer.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a much better display than Galaxy Tab S5e, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab S5e has a bit superior processing unit than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and 2 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab S5e counts with a very superior battery life than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 7040mAh battery capacity against 3950mAh.
Galaxy Tab S5e captures much clearer photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a back camera with a lot higher resolution, a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures and a way higher (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy Tab S5e costs a lot more money than Google Nexus 7 (2013), but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
