The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a global score of 79, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab S5e's 78.6 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a newer portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab S5e, although it is a little bit heavier and notably thicker. Both tablets in this comparison review come with the same Android 10 OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab S5e. Both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, although it has a lot smaller screen, a little less pixels per screen inch and a way lower 1200 x 1920 resolution.
The Galaxy Tab S5e has a better camera than Galaxy Tab Active 3. They have the same (4K) video definition, the same video frame rates and a 13 MP camera. The Galaxy Tab S5e has a bit more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab S5e counts with a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has 7040mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
