Galaxy Tab S5e has a score of 78.6, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5's general score of 74.3. The Galaxy Tab S5e is a much newer portable tablet, and it is also somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S5e has the previous 10 version and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 version.
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab S5e. Both of them have a higher pixel amount per inch in the display, a display of the same size and an equal resolution of 1600 x 2560. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e also has a higher amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e features a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Tab S5e, because it has a 7900mAh battery size.
Galaxy Tab S5e has a way better camera than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a much higher 13 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Although Galaxy Tab S5e is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab S5e, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, giving up a couple features and specifications.
