Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is slightly better than Galaxy Tab S3, getting a 78.6 score against 75.2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is a extremely newer tablet device, and it is also a bit lighter and a little thinner than Galaxy Tab S3. These tablets have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has an older 10 version while Galaxy Tab S3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Galaxy Tab S5e features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab S5e also has 4 more cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1600 x 2560, a little bit bigger display and a just a little better pixel density.
Galaxy Tab S5e has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S3, because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab S5e shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab S3, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a 13 MP resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has improved battery performance than Galaxy Tab S3, because it has 7040mAh of battery capacity against 6000mAh.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, giving up a couple features and specifications.
