Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has a general score of 78.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab S 8.4's general score of 74.5. Although Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is extremely newer than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, it is much heavier and a little bit thicker. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way greater pixel density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px.
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite features a much greater memory for apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that supports up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite also has a larger amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite features a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 7040mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both of them have the same 1920x1080 video quality, a back-facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
Although Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, resigning a couple specifications.
