The Galaxy Tab S7 has a score of 86.6, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 overall score. Even though the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy Tab S7 body is thinner but incredibly heavier. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab S7 has older 11 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 features a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a way larger display, a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a just a little better pixel amount in each inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has a much better storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.
Galaxy Tab S7 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab S7 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab S7 counts with a way better battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has an 8000mAh battery size.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, because although it has a back camera with way less mega-pixels, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and video.
Although Galaxy Tab S7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S7, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), resigning some specs and features.
