Comparison review

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, getting a general score of 68.5 against 64.1. Both devices we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 has Android 13 version, giving some nice extra features and better performance. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a much older and notably thicker tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, but Amazon made it a lot lighter anyway.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a way better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, although it has a quite smaller display. The Galaxy Tab S9 has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a really superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and 4 less CPU cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy Tab S9 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a lot better resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy Tab S9 features a much better battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
