The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a score of 70.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab S9's global score of 64.1. Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab S9 has Android 13 version, giving a couple additional features. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) design is notably older, a little bit heavier and a lot thicker than Galaxy Tab S9.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab S9, although it has a bit smaller display. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a lot better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S9, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
