The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 67.9, which is much better than the Galaxy View's global score of 61.5. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is an older device than Galaxy View, but Amazon managed to build it incredibly lighter and notably thinner. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy View, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a much higher display density.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy View, although it has an inferior number of cores , they both have the same RAM amount. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a lot better camera than Galaxy View. Galaxy View counts with much more storage capacity for apps and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy View also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
