Galaxy View has a score of 61.5, which is slightly better than Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 general score. Although Galaxy View is way newer than the Microsoft Surface RT, it is noticeably heavier and notably thicker. Microsoft Surface RT has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy View, because although it has a way smaller screen and a lot lower 768 x 1366px resolution, it also counts with a little bit better display density.

The Samsung Galaxy View has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT. Both have the same 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy View counts with a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy View also counts with more CPU cores.

Samsung Galaxy View counts with a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface RT. Microsoft Surface RT takes greater videos and photos than Galaxy View.

Although Galaxy View is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy View, else you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning some specs and features.
