Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a score of 65.3, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s global score of 58.6. Both tablets we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy View 2 has an older 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Despite being the best portable tablet we compare here, we must note that it's also an older, incredibly heavier and thicker portable tablet.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s CPU is just as good as the processor in Samsung Galaxy View 2, although the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (although they are faster). The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a brighter screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a way lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a really smaller display, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy View 2. Galaxy View 2 has a slightly better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 400 GB against 1000 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy View 2 has a way better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy View 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), resigning some features and specifications.
