Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than the Galaxy View 2, getting a 68.5 score against 65.3. Although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is older than the Galaxy View 2, it's construction is incredibly lighter and noticeably thinner. Both devices we are comparing here come with Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.2.2 version and Galaxy View 2 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy View 2, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a way better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a way greater screen density and a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy View 2. The Galaxy View 2 has much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy View 2 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 features a much longer battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
