Samsung Galaxy View 2 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, with a general score of 65.3 against 65.1. The Samsung Galaxy View 2 works with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. The Samsung Galaxy View 2 body is extremely newer, but much heavier and way thicker than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
The Galaxy View 2 features a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of 1.6 GHz cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a lot better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also counts with a way better display density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy View 2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has much more storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy View 2 features a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Although Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface Pro 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
